Colorado Springs Eye Glasses

sunglass trends for 2017
As 2016 comes to an end and 2017 begins, there is always a change in everything, and this is no exception for eyewear. From prescription eyewear to sunglasses, eye wear has become a fashion lover's delight. We live in a time and age where eyeglasses have become a fashion item, not just a necessity for better vision. Many fashionistas consider frames to be their best friends, as they frequently complete an entire outfit. Some people collect a variety of frames just to change their look or to express their mood.  In this article, we will explore the most popular trends in eyewear, from style to color. So, what does the upcoming "hot" look in eyewear look like?

There is something about the right pair of frames that sets the mood, and we all strive to look good, great, and confident. From James Dean to Marilyn Monroe, these icons were always seen sporting iconic frames and lenses that enhanced their personalities.  But why? Could it be the allure or the sense of mystery behind the frames? Great shades can create a sense of allure and attractiveness.

Frames With A Big Impact Are Still Popular

Sunglasses with this style emerged in the 1970s and have held onto their fashion status ever since. Made famous by the likes of Farrah Faucet and others, a true Charlie’s Angels classic.  It's not clear what it is, but these frames seem to be here to stay.  Frames that work with almost any face shape are popular choices for many, but if you have an oval-shaped head, this style may be the best option for you. Prada, Kate Spade, DKNY eyeglasses, and many more classic brand names are available at the optical shop at the Vision Institute Colorado. With progressive lenses, prescription lenses, scratch resistance, and more, these frames can handle the daily tasks of people wearing them.

Dark, Really Dark Lenses

Continuing the trend of allure and mystery, these darker lenses paired with large frames will be very popular in 2017. Please, don't be the girl or guy wearing them indoors if not for safety reasons alone.   A dark pair of shades can protect against ultraviolet rays from the sun while allowing the wearer to reduce pressure on the corneas. Not to mention, they also make you look cool.

Ombre Sunglasses Lenses With An Elegant Style

If you are not sure what these are, I know you have seen them on the faces of many fashion forward thinkers. These lenses have transitioning hues of dark earth tones that move from light to dark across the front and back. These lens types are usually found on multi-rimmed sunglasses, or big frames for encapsulating the color spread. Popular brands include Juicy, Tory Burch, and Nicole Miller. Expect to see this trend continue in the coming years.

Shades From The  1980s

The 80's are making a comeback in many ways, and your eyewear choices are no exception.  Frames with stylish lines are becoming more popular, and this niche is growing in the sunglasses market. These frames have sharp angles and mixed colors. If retro is your mood, then these frames will delight you.

Sunglasses Frames With Marbled Dark Finish

Another fantastic selection, this style lays it all on the line with its youthful feel and sophistication. Once again, a sexy pair of sunglasses has become a timeless classic. It is likely to remain fashionable for years to come.

My sister will be going to the beach with her friends and she wanted to have great sunglasses, but she has a blurry vision. It was explained here that 80's sunglasses are making a comeback. Furthermore, it's recommended to go to professionals when considering prescription glasses.
