Premium Lens Implants
Would you like to reduce your dependence on eyeglasses after cataract surgery with lens implants?
Cataract surgery now offers the benefits of improved near, intermediate and distance vision.
Standard Lens
– Many choose the standard single-focus lens implant. It gives excellent vision and does not involve any extra costs.
Premium Lens

– If reducing or eliminating your dependence on glasses for distance and/or reading is a high priority for you, you may want to consider a multi-focal IOL as part of your cataract surgery procedure. Today, people are increasingly involved in selecting the type of lens implant that best meets their lifestyle needs. Premium cataract lens implants are available at Vision Institute in Colorado Springs, CO.
Many people enjoy a greater level of independence from eyeglasses by choosing multi-focal lenses instead of standard cataract surgery. The surgical procedure for mono-focal and multi-focal IOL is similar, only the lens is different.
Currently, there are multi-focal IOLs available, which provide patients the ability to see well at more than one distance without the use of glasses or contacts.
Other types of IOLs available are: Toric IOLs for people with astigmatisms and Blue Light-Filtering IOLs, which help to filter UV light rays.
